About our Founder, Owner, & Head Chef
Gainz and Shreds Meal Prep started as a vision brought to life by Founder, Owner, and Head Chef Andrew “Dru” Aguilar in September 2022. With roughly 22 years in the food and consumer goods industry,16 years as a journeyman, butcher, and manager, and going on 7 years in the meal prep industry, Dru was able to bring his Gainz and Shreds Meal Prep dreams to fruition. Dru had grown up passionate about working out, but did not achieve the results he sought until he was introduced to the concept of meal prep.

Having realized that proper nutrition was the main source for achieving hist health goals, he wanted to share the benefits of meal prep with others. Dru’s success story is an inspiration to the community: He lost 100 pounds, and gave up alcohol and cigarettes, and in turn, started to gain self-confidence. When he saw how his fitness journey impacted others, he made it his life mission to help others to improve their health, gain strength, and achieve their own wellness goals, through fitness and nutrition. Working in the meal prep business has brought him a sense of fulfillment by helping others thrive.
